Bibliotek Podcast

Well, first of all, welcome to Bibliotek’s new blog. We’re not really the “blogging” type necessarily, but we figured it would aid us in a few of our upcoming projects, which is really what this first post is all about.

Beginning this month (officially, although we’re a bit late), we’ll be debuting our first monthly Podcast (which is what the blog was initially started for… just to make it easy for us to display the contents of the Podcast and add neat pictures and links to buy what we play, and most importantly, cuz it gives us the chance to hear directly from you!). We thought it was a pretty neat idea, we hope you do as well! We may also subject you, dear reader, to random moments of ranting and (in some opinion) idiocy. But that’s what the internets are for, aren’t they? See? On a tangent already… yeah, the Podcast: it’s our way of saying thank you to our contemporaries in production for the great tunes they’ve been working so hard on, as well as to spread the word of the great work they’re doing to you! I mean, it makes sense since both of us here at Bibliotek started out as DJs!

In addition to the Podcast and such, we’re constantly working on tunes. Been working on some new remixes for Toronto-based singer Deesha (check her out at http://myspace.com/deesha if you haven’t already… she’s amazing!), as well as some new original bits with our homeboy Kadenz.
